ABOUT ASIMIRA

Asimira graduated art school in 2015. Through her graduation project she became involved in the Dutch Rope scene. Bondage became her passion and she started studying it both as top and bottom. Fascinated by what rope can do to her body and the body of others in her hands. She joined the Ellipsis organization in Rotterdam as a host, teacher and performer.

During her years in art school she regularly modeled for life drawing, and since 2016 she started modelling for photography too. She finds ways to express herself through her body, combining her body awareness, playful energy and knowledge of art and image.

Asimira is driven by the thought that growing up doesn’t mean we should stop playing, and in rope and pictures she tries to find a playfulness. Her love for corporeality, anatomy and touch drove her to start a new studies and since 2017 she is a full-time physiotherapy student.
